Judicial Retention Disclaimer & Recommendation

This list identifies judges we recommend the public vote NO to retain. It has been carefully developed for public use to promote accountability in Arizona’s judicial system and to protect our communities.

The spreadsheet below provides the supporting details behind each recommendation. It includes information on who appointed the judge, prior election ratings where available, key cases and decisions that informed our review, and a summary of the reasoning. Voters who want to dig deeper are strongly encouraged to review the spreadsheet so they can make a fully informed decision at the ballot box.

We focused on the most egregious records. Successful removal of even a few of these judges this cycle would send a clear signal through the judicial system that the bench is not untouchable.

We believe the public deserves judges who are accountable to the people and protective of our communities.
